A cutlery collection for AWKENOX with there experiences, consumer aspirations and op­portunities. Shape AEROCRATIC,  Fast Mover  Production Friendly, Least process in manufacturing, Reference products of AWKENOX - Delton, and Carmen, Look - Classy and Sleek. INDIAN traditional hospitality, serving traditions over past decades in differ­ent parts of India. With there different welcoming customs in different parts of India. The material would be Stainless steel with different textures and color variations accordingly. Focused factors would be the drawbacks of the ergonomic hold of eating utensils. Need to find the failures and threats of the product. Cutlery collection (includes SPOONS, FORK, and KNIFE) for premium hotel industry keeping in parallel: cost, production, tooling, & human resources (efficiency).

WHY HANDLE DESIGN? 

Good handle design is important at work and in all kinds of daily ac­tivities for items that are efficient to use, safe, and attractive to buy. 

Terminology: 

 

Anything that can be picked up by the human hand or which the body comes in contact with, is in some sense a handle. 

 

All these needs some of the same features, whether it is a Door handle., Book or Glass or Box or, Other items.

USER INTERACTION

The troubles with Handles 

Too small, too stiff, Sharp, Awkwardly placed, Confusing to use.  Despite the change in our society - Industrial to an Information base - Human to machine power. But of course, human still need their hands or fingers to control or keys of some kind. Bulky things still need a push by hand or body. But small precise things are operated by hands and fingers. 

 

 

The general HAND-MACHINE problem 
Individual objectivity in how they grip according to their - habit and size - postures - force needed- other constraints.  Different grips can be solved by different users and situations.
